The Churdan public library board and staff will host its annual Independence Day ice cream social Saturday, July 3, from 6 to 6:45 pm in the city park shelter house. Ice cream sundaes and floats will be served, with a free will donation going toward the library’s operating expenses.
The Town & Country Band will perform in the gazebo at the park at 7 pm, providing a variety of patriotic music and more. The band will also accept free will donations.
Attendees are reminded to bring lawn chairs and bug repellent.
